My only sadness about LPA at England Run is that my daughters are no longer there. My 13 year old was there since she was about 6 months old, and the 8 year old since she was 3 months old. They both LOVED it there. The staff is dedicated and loving at all stages, being careful to always have an appropriate teacher-to-student ratio and spending time each day with every child in their charge. I would not hesitate to recommend Learning Paths Academy at England Run for child care at any age.

Learning Paths Academy at England Run is awesome! The staff greets us every morning and afternoon. They always present themselves as happy and glad to see every family. It's a great school and my son goes without tears most days. They do a great job involving families. I would highly recommend this Learning Paths Academy.

Shanel Gray
About Me

My name is Shanel Gray, and I am proud to be the Director at Learning Paths Academy at England Run. I hold an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Germanna Community College and bring 16 years of experience in the childcare field. Throughout my career, I have served as a JK Teacher, PM Supervisor, and Assistant Director, experiences that have shaped my leadership and passion for early education. I am originally from Virginia and have always had a heart for caring for and teaching others. I chose to work with children because I truly love helping others, and seeing children develop and flourish over the years brings me great joy—especially knowing I had a part in their growth. My favorite part of the day is welcoming families into our center, listening to their joys and concerns, and building meaningful relationships. I am motivated by creating a loving, family-oriented environment where families feel heard, supported, and appreciated. Outside of work, I am married and a proud mother of four children, along with two fur babies. I enjoy DIY projects around my home, family gatherings and cookouts, and spending weekends watching football with friends and family. Being together, especially during the holidays is something I truly cherish. Providing a nurturing and caring environment for children and families is what motivates me every day, and I am honored to serve our community at Learning Paths Academy. Sincerely,   Shanel Gray, Director Learning Paths Academy at England Run

Jeaninne Kroll, Business Management Degree
About Me

My name is Jeaninne Kroll, and I am honored to step into the role of District Director with LLE Education Group. I bring over 20 years of multi-site leadership experience across early childhood education and retail operations, most recently overseeing licensed childcare centers and before- and after-school programs across Virginia. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about building high-performing teams, strengthening program quality, and creating cultures where every teacher feels valued, supported, and able to make a meaningful impact on children and families. My leadership is shaped deeply by my personal journey. I was born and raised in Bucharest, Romania, and at 22 years old, I came to the United States with a suitcase and the determination to build a better life. That leap of faith taught me resilience, gratitude, and the importance of leaving a positive mark wherever I go, values that continue to guide me in my work today. I have been married to my husband, Jeff, for 28 years, and together we have two wonderful daughters, Julia and Jaden, along with our two Boston Terriers, Jamie and Daisy-Jay. (A fun fact: all our names start with “J”, even the dogs!) When I’m not working, I love playing piano, ice skating, reading, and spending time with my family. I also have a deep love for Christmas, so much so that I typically set up at least seven Christmas trees in my home, a tradition rooted in my childhood, when the holiday brought so much joy to an otherwise difficult era. Professionally, I am most fulfilled when I am developing leaders, supporting strong center cultures, ensuring safe and high-quality environments, and helping teams achieve their goals. I love winning, but even more, I love watching teams win together. I’m thrilled to bring that same passion and energy to LLE Education Group, and I look forward to learning from all of you, supporting your work, and contributing to the success of our programs and communities. I’m truly grateful to be here and excited for the journey ahead. Jeaninne Kroll
