Toddler Explorers

The Toddler Explorers program is offered for one year old's when they are mobile and ready for a classroom experience. In small primary care groups, our responsive teachers nurture and guide toddlers as they develop a sense of self in a safe and loving learning environment.

Partnering with Families

Family engagement is encouraged through daily communication between families and teachers. You will feel connected to your child's learning experiences each day as you receive updates on our family communication app. Classroom events throughout the year will highlight developmental progress and activities based on toddlers' emerging interests.

Toddlers have a natural desire to explore and discover. As our Explorers become familiar with their daily routine, they thrive in their specially designed environment that nurtures their natural curiosity about the world around them. Our experienced, well-trained teachers engage the children in experiences and observe them as they investigate materials in the classroom to continuously provide new and exciting learning opportunities.

Spaces Designed for Active Toddlers

When you look into a busy Explorers classroom, you may see toddlers painting, singing, dancing to music, pouring water at the sensory table, stacking blocks, placing objects on a pegboard, playing in the pretend kitchen, and turning pages of a board book in their library. In our outdoor space, you will see active toddlers running, climbing, and tossing balls - all of these activities foster physical, cognitive, and social-emotional growth and creativity.
