Youth Zone
The Youth Zone is our school-age program that enables working parents to know that their child is safe and supported during their working days. Children have an opportunity to spend their out-of-school time with friends in an environment that is fun, friendly, and relaxing and encourages socialization, togetherness, creativity, and growth outside of the school day.
Communication and Connectedness
The age-old question parents ask their children: "So, what did you do today?" is answered a little easier as our teachers keep you up to date with what's happening in your child's day. We encourage independence as our school-age children grow. However, we support the institution of family by role modeling healthy relationships and staying connected. Real-time updates on our family communication app keep you related to your child's day, even when you're away.
Enriching Educational Experiences
Each day school-age children are presented with several activity choices that build on the knowledge and skills in school. Each afternoon, students have an opportunity to complete homework assignments in quiet areas of the Youth Zone. Our education team understands that opportunities for socialization, fun and creative expression are crucial components of a quality youth development program. Our staff creates customized lesson plans each week to provide these necessary experiences.
Individualized Learning Experiences
We genuinely believe children learn best in a loving environment. Children who feel safe and loved will thrive. We incorporate this philosophy into everything we do, from the materials in the classroom to loving interactions.
Our teachers design lesson plans using our literacy-rich curriculum and research-based active learning experiences that support social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth. This promotes brain development and allows infants to learn about the world around them.
Well-Rounded Opportunities to Explore
Children participate in various clubs based on their interests. They might enjoy jewelry making or dance with friends, or they may head over to the art studio to work on their painting skills. Chess and drama clubs are offered and opportunities to participate in sports like soccer and basketball. Children also can work on special projects together like robotics, cinematography, pottery, and games.
Good Nutrition for Healthy Bodies & Minds
Children are served breakfast before they are taken to school. They receive a snack upon returning from school and then have a chance to head off to the playground to let off steam after a long day of learning.
