Director
Kristi Fisher About Me
My name is Kristi Fisher and I would like to introduce myself as your center director at Learning
Paths Academy at Heathcote. I have 25 years of experience in the early childhood field,
including 15 wonderful years with LLE Education Group. I am also currently working toward
my AA degree through Northern Virginia Community College, just a few more classes to go!
I grew up right here in Northern Virginia, and today I am the proud mom of a
16-year-old son and a 10-year-old daughter. In my spare time, I love exploring
new places and trying new experiences with my family.
One of the joys of my career has been watching so many children grow—from
babies in my classroom to young adults who are now parents themselves. It’s
truly amazing! I also cherish the everyday moments: when children arrive or
leave for the day, they often come to me for a big hug, and I love being able to
say, “I’ll see you tomorrow.”
As a mom myself, I understand how important it is to know your child is receiving the best
possible care, care that supports not only learning, but emotional connection and meaningful
interactions. My goal is to create a warm, engaging, and safe environment where every child
feels valued and excited to learn.
We are committed to incorporate the goals of JOY, GROWTH, and COMMUNITY at Learning Paths Academy at Heathcote.
Respectfully,
Kristi Fisher, Director
Assistant Director
Sakshi Bhatia, BA/Art, CDA About Me
My name is Sakshi Bhatia, and I am honored to serve as the Assistant Director at Learning Paths Academy at Heathcote. I hold a Bachelor’s degree and a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, and I bring over eight years of experience in early childhood education.
Originally from India, I have always had a deep appreciation for culture, community, and connection. I love to travel, hike, and explore beautiful trails with my family. I am also a proud wife and mother of two wonderful children who continue to inspire me every day.
Working with children is truly my passion. There is nothing more rewarding than supporting their growth, encouraging their curiosity, and helping them build confidence in a safe and nurturing environment. Earlier in my career, I wrote and illustrated a children’s book, It's Going to Be a Wonderful Day, which focuses on promoting resilience and social-emotional learning in young readers—two areas that are very close to my heart.
My favorite part of each day is morning arrival. Seeing the children walk through our doors full of energy and excitement reminds me why our work matters. Their smiles and enthusiasm set a positive tone for the entire day and reinforce the importance of the meaningful work we do together.
I am deeply committed to meeting the needs of the families in our school community. Strong family–school partnerships create the foundation for student success. Your involvement truly makes a difference—whether it’s attending school events, supporting learning at home, or simply staying connected. Your partnership plays a vital role in your child’s growth and achievement.
I look forward to getting to know each of you and working together to make this a wonderful and enriching year for your children.
District Director
Erin Kruppenbacker, BA/Early Childhood Education About Me
Erin Kruppenbacker is a District Director for LLE Education Group.
We have been taking our child to this academy since he was an infant. The staff is caring and loving. We trust our child with the caregivers at Learning Paths Heathcote.
My grandson attends Learning Paths Academy in Haymaket Virginia. The teachers and staff are wonderful. They have a fun filled summer camp as well. I would definitely recommend Learning Paths Academy if you are looking for a fantastic daycare.
There aren’t enough words to describe what this daycare means to our family. My daughter has been attending since she was an infant, and ten years later, I can honestly say it was the best decision we ever made.
Watching her grow from the nursery to the school-age program under their care has been a privilege. The staff doesn't just 'watch' the kids; they pour their hearts into teaching, supporting, and cheering them on. It’s a rare and beautiful thing to have 100% peace of mind when you drop your child off. We’ve been through every milestone together, and I am so grateful for the consistent, loving environment they’ve provided for the last decade. They aren't just a daycare; they are an extension of our family.
Learning Paths has been a great experience for our family. We decided to move our toddler here almost 1 year ago from another daycare in Gainesville due to management issues.
As any parent would be, we were nervous about the switch and worried we would pick the wrong daycare twice. Since the switch, our 6-month old has also started here. Both children are thriving and we haven’t looked back or questioned our decision.
Our Toddler marched into Learning Path’s like he owns the place (which tells us how comfortable he is there), and every staff member knows his name (and knew it on day 1!)
Everything from the curriculum to the extra things (PJ days, fundraisers/donation drives, a fish tank in the lobby that the kids get to visit and watch, a fully enclosed playground, etc.) is very carefully thought out.
The entire leadership team is top-notch-they truly care for the children and families and it shows through their communication and consistently friendly attitudes. Shout-out to the center’s Director, Kristi, for having a smile every day since we started going here.
The baby and toddler leads, Ms. Kayla, and Ms. Emma are incredible…so much so that our toddler forgets his parents are around once he sees them. You can tell that both Ms. Kayla and Ms. Emma enjoy what they do based on their updates, daily-app photos, and how much both of our kids have learned since starting here.
Learning Path’s Academy is truly a great place to send your kid(s). We highly recommend!!!
Our son loves going to daycare and gets excited when we pull into the parking lot! He started in the infant room and just moved to the toddler room. He has learned a lot and is clearly having fun! All the staff are warm, engaged, and responsive.
We’ve been with Learning Paths for over six months now, and we couldn’t be happier. Our toddler loves their teachers and friends and is learning so well.
Ms. Christi and Ms. Sakshi are always responsive and communicative, and Ms. Emma is a wonderful teacher.
LPA - Haymarket, VA has always been so accommodating of when I need to change my schedule or have an emergency. This is a great school. My daughter started here when she was almost 2 years old. They really helped my daughter feel safe and treated her really good. Every staff are so nice and professional. She learns a lot and enjoys going to school.
It's a great place and for me to say I don't stress about my daughter being away from me when she is at school.
My family and i, are so grateful for this daycare! From the very first day, the staff made us feel comfortable and confident leaving our child in their care. The teachers are patient, attentive, and truly care about each child’s development. You can tell this isn’t just a job for them, they genuinely love what they do.
The environment is always clean, organized, and welcoming. We’ve seen so much growth in our child socially and emotionally since starting here. Communication has also been amazing, we’re kept informed about daily activities, milestones, and any concerns, which gives us real peace of mind as parents.
Choosing a daycare is such a big decision, and we couldn’t be happier with ours. I highly recommend this center to any family looking for a safe, nurturing, and supportive place for their little one.
We’ve had a wonderful experience with Learning Paths Academy , and I couldn’t be happier with the environment my son is growing up in. The classrooms and common areas are always clean, well-organized, and thoughtfully maintained, which immediately gives peace of mind as a parent.
What truly stands out is the positive, happy atmosphere. The teachers and staff are warm, caring, and welcoming, and it clearly reflects in how comfortable and excited the children are each day. My son comes home smiling, talking about his day, and genuinely looks forward to going back.
The preschool provides a safe, nurturing, and joyful space where children feel valued and supported. We’re very grateful to be part of such a caring community and highly recommend it to any parent looking for a clean, happy, and nurturing preschool environment.
