I would like to introduce myself as your center director at Learning Paths Academy at Heathcote, my name is Diane Woods, I opened this school and have been the director here for LLE Group since April 2009.
I attended Hawaii Pacific College and University of Colorado and majored in Communication with a minor in ECE. I have more than 20 years of experience in the childcare field. I have two grown children: My daughter lives in Fredericksburg with her husband and three children. She has taken after me in working in childcare at Fredericksburg Christian Academy where my grandchildren attend school. My son lives in Florida, works in marketing and recruitment. I have two grandsons with him and his wife for a total of 5 wonderful grandchildren!
Children have always been my passion. I strive to create a loving, safe, educational environment for them to learn and grow. Family is extremely important at Learning Paths at Heathcote; we hold monthly events to ensure the entire family feels like part of our school.
I am very proud to say our school is accredited through COGNIA, the gold standard for early childhood education accreditation. Being COGNIA accredited means that our school has committed to delivering the best quality to our students and families through a set of rigorous standards focused on teacher-child interactions, relationships, professional development, and operational processes.
