My name is Leslie Davies, and I would like to introduce myself as your Director. I have Associates degrees in General Studies and Music, and I am completing my BS in Psychology through Old Dominion University. I have lived in Woodbridge since 2001, when I moved here from San Diego, California. I enjoy reading and spending time outdoors with my three-year-old son, who is the light of my life!
I have 15 years of Early Education experience, including eight years as a Teacher Assistant, Lead Teacher, Assistant Director, and now Director. I also served three years with the Prince William County Public Schools and four years working at a non-public school in Maryland for individuals with disabilities.
I chose to work as a teacher because I have always had a passion for education, and being in the Early Childhood field, I am honored to reach the young ones at their earliest levels of development and truly make a difference. My favorite part of the day is when I get to observe an “Ah-ha!” moment with a child, where they have grasped a new concept or accomplished a new milestone.
As a parent, I know what I look for in a quality education experience for my own child, so I strive to provide the absolute best for our families!
